1. Acceptance of These Terms

Souvenit is operated by Souvenit Inc. (“Souvenit,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account, uploading a photo, generating a preview, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy and Photo Privacy Commitment. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. What Souvenit Provides

Souvenit lets you design a personalized hardcover storybook illustrated from a photo you provide. We provide finished sample books to help you understand the experience. Your personalized digital or hardcover edition is crafted after you place an order. We may add, change, or retire editions, art styles, or features at any time.

3. Who Can Use Souvenit

You must be at least 18 years old, or the parent or legal guardian of the child being featured, to create an account or place an order. Souvenit is a service for parents and guardians to use on behalf of a child — it is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly allow a child to create an account, upload a photo, or check out unsupervised.

4. Photos You Upload

• •You confirm that you have the right to upload each photo — either it is a photo of your own child, or you have the permission of the child's parent or legal guardian.
• •You will not upload a photo of a child you do not have the right to represent, or any image that is unlawful, abusive, or depicts a person other than the intended subject without consent.
• •You grant Souvenit a limited license to use the photo solely to create your order and, if you purchase, your printed book. We do not use family photos to train public AI models — see our Photo Privacy Commitment for the full detail on storage, retention, and deletion.

5. Orders, Pricing & Payment

Prices are shown in US dollars at checkout and may change at any time before you complete an order. Payment is processed by a third-party payment provider (Stripe); Souvenit does not store your full card details. You are responsible for reviewing your personalization carefully — including the child's name, spelling, and any dedication text — before purchasing the hardcover, since the print is produced to match what you approved.

6. Shipping

Production and delivery times, shipping rates, and destinations are described on our Shipping & Returns page, which forms part of these Terms.

7. Returns, Refunds & Cancellations

Because each book is personalized to your child, it cannot be resold and is not eligible for a standard change-of-mind return once printing has begun. We back every order with our 100% Love-It Guarantee: if your book arrives damaged, misprinted, or otherwise does not meet our archival print standard, we will reprint it free of charge or issue a full refund. Full detail and the current guarantee window are on the Shipping & Returns page. To start a claim, email help@sovenit.com with your order number and a photo of the issue. An order can be cancelled free of charge any time before printing has started; once printing begins, it can no longer be cancelled.

8. Intellectual Property

The Souvenit website, platform, story text, and illustration templates are owned by Souvenit Inc. and protected by copyright and other laws. You keep all rights to the photos you upload. The finished personalized book — the specific illustrations and text generated for your order — is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use: printing, gifting, and keeping. You may not resell, mass-reproduce, or use a Souvenit book or its artwork commercially without our written permission.

9. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

Souvenit is provided “as is.” AI-generated illustration involves some variation, and we do our best to keep a child recognizable across every page but cannot guarantee an exact likeness match. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Souvenit's total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Souvenit Inc. is incorporated, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where local consumer-protection law gives you additional rights that cannot be waived.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where required by law, notify you. Continuing to use Souvenit after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
